Volvo Takes a Green Step Forward with V60 Plug-In Hybrid

Sometimes just knowing the automaker you trust is headed in the right direction is enough, even if it releases a model that won't be available here in the United States. This is exactly how Lovering Volvo in Concord feels about the release of the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid. A brainchild of the partnership between Volvo and Swedish energy supplier, Vattenfall, the new hybrid will debut in the European market next year.

Volvo Ends C70 Production at Uddevalla

Half a decade ago, Volvo started production of the Volvo C70 in Uddevalla, Sweden. As a joint venture between the automaker and Pininfarina S.p.a., the plant has displayed high-quality assembly and retained a team of well-skilled workers. However, in light of recent re-evaluations, Volvo will cease production in Uddevalla in 2013.
