2012 Volvo S60 Keeps You Protected

There's a lot we could say about the new 2012 Volvo S60. After all, the luxury sedan is ahead of its class in fuel-efficiency, acceleration and vehicle coverage. But for now, Lovering Volvo in Concord would like to talk about safety.

Based on extensive testing in the areas of frontal, rollover, side poll and barrier crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Association has deemed the S60 to be extraordinarily safe. In fact, the ultra-advanced Volvo sedan has received a perfect, five-star rating in each of the aforementioned categories. While many vehicles across the board come equipped with added safety features, the S60 is one of only seven models thus far to gain the desired NHTSA-approval.

Delving a bit deeper, there are a few truly remarkable features that give S60 drivers strong peace of mind while on the road. Most notable perhaps, is City Safety with Pedestrian Detection. The system is able to determine when an unexpected vehicle or object crosses in front of your Volvo. It then activates automatic braking in order to prevent an accident from occurring. In addition to City Safety, the Volvo S60 also comes with daytime running lights, rear fog lights, Dynamic Stability and Traction Control, energy-absorbing frontal structure, Whiplash Protection System and restraint technologies.

The list goes on and on when it comes to S60 safety. Actually, we could spend a while talking about the model's technology features and performance as well. But for now, we'll leave you with this snippet and invite you to contact us with any remaining questions. Don't forget, we also have plenty of other, ultra-safe new Volvo models at 95 Manchester Street Concord, NH 03301 so don't hesitate to stop by and check them out anytime.
