Lovering Offers New Hampshire Safety and Emissions Inspections
Lovering Volvo Cars of Concord near Manchester is pleased to be an authorized center for New Hampshire state vehicle inspections. All new vehicles must receive these authorized inspections and emissions tests within ten days of registration, and a follow-up inspection must be performed every year by the owner’s birth month. If the vehicle switches owners, it must be re-inspected within ten days of the new registration, even if the previous inspection sticker has not yet expired.

The Inspection Process
Lovering Volvo Cars of Concord Service Center: Once the inspection is complete, we will provide you with a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR), transmit the results electronically to the DMV, and issue you a valid inspection sticker. Items that we check during the inspection include:
- Steering, front end and suspension
- Brake system
- Tires and wheels
- Lights and reflectors
- Glass and mirrors
- Fuel system
- The electrical system, horn, and defroster
- Body, chassis, and bumper height
1996 model year or newer models must also undergo an On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) test. This allows our team to perform a more thorough emissions tests, and also to catch and inform you of problems that may otherwise be hard to detect.
